Donor Sperm at Caribbean Fertility Center CFC
Sperm donors are healthy men who are under the age of 30 years. The recruitment of a sperm donor involves meticulous testing for genetic, as well as, infectious diseases, after which the donated sperm can be used for intrauterine insemination (IUI), and for in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Donor sperm is indicated for men with very poor sperm parameters and genetic disorders that he doesn’t want to pass unto the unborn child. It can also be used for females without a male partner.
The process of receiving donor sperm entails:
Recipients choose donor sperm based on race/ethnicity, height, weight, hair colour, eye colour, blood type, education, interests and personality. This is very helpful when selecting the perfect donor.
Recipients undergo counselling to understand the process and implications of using donor sperm.
At CFC, our goal is to make the process of receiving donor sperm as seamless as possible. We are here to help you make your dreams a reality.
